Live Nativity Coolest thing yet!

Look how real that looks, yet fake at the same time!!! It's my first, but definitely not my last time being in a live nativity cause it was so cool! We had a blast. Jen and I were the wisemen, Dayton and Erin were the kings and Kelsey was Mary and Richard was her husband Joseph. The baby was fake...I was hoping for a real baby.

Thanks to all the dress up opportunities, Erin decided that she for sure wants to be a gyspy next Halloween. Look at her, do you blame her? I don't, she pulls it off well.

The after party at the Malt Shoppe

After the hospital, we went to the Malt Shoppe where we indulged in malts, french fries, onion rings, hambergers, dancing and juke box music. Dayton got his groove on like he always does. Kelsey couldn't stay away from the camera and Bryce thought deeply about something, perhaps what song to pick next or how he's going to ask Erin to ask him to marry him before Feb 14th. Lindsay gave Becca a back massage with her amazingly magic hands. All in all it was a successful night. We love our bishopric who hung out with us and picked up on their wives of many years, just like they were young bucks!

Just for the record, brother Lewis' trunk spanked the pants off my honda civic in a race...great after party

Sharing Christmas with the Hospital

As a ward we were able to go to the hospital and sing carols with the patients. Jen did a violin solo and Aubri did a piano solo. Then we had a fun game of white elephant and we got to pass around gifts. It was a great night.

Present exchange and cheesy smiles...life is good!

When there is an opportunity to take a picture with a giant Santa, you just have sieze the day, even if you're in the wrong building and everyone else is waiting for you! That's what happened, my car went the building I went to last time and we had a photo shoot with Santa and the Christmas tree, and Bryce had an encounter with a REALLY loud bell! All the while, we were in the wrong place and everyone was waiting for us! No worries we showed up and the fun began!

Christmas Caroling

We got all bundled up, had our music in hand and brother Beckstead pulled us on his straw laden trailor as we filled the town with our heart felt jingle bells and dashing through the snow lyrics. It was a time to snuggle up next to that special someone or just hog more of the blanket! A caroling we went. We even sang all the way through the Albertson's parking lot and would you believe that not a soul was even in the parking lot, it's Albertson's for heaven's sake. We ended up back at the church for hot chocolate, cookies and donuts. A Lehi experience everyone should partake of at least once, but bundle up or your toes will freeze and you'll need the life massaged back into them like Kristen and Bryce did!

Even the littlest of little ones joined us. These guys are Lehites right down to their chilling bones!

The Holy War

The Elder's Quorum had a UTAH vs BYU game

day party and no party is a real party in a single's ward without girls so they invited the R.S. and made it a party. They set up lots of projectors and t.v.s. There was food, fun and battling...a lot of high fives from Sam rooting for the Utes...

Dance competition

These guys are hilarious...so much fun!

Because one Halloween Party isn't enough

Our faithful bishopric!

Dayton getting his groove on!

So we had our first halloween party, then our second and decided that two was enough, we're only having one Christmas party though...I think that's a little bit shabby! So here's some really fun pictures from our party

Halloween forever ago

What a crazy group of people!!! Good times had always in this ward. If you're ever wondering, just take a look and a picture really is worth a 1000 words!

Matt and Rich...which one is which? The always amazing food line!

Gotta have that Pioneer Spirit!

Triathalon...very creative...k your picture is up and it's finally updated! Are you satisfied.

80's rockin' out!!! So cute!

Sorry it's been forever since I was able to update the ward blog...you know so many things to do and we create more and more to do when we say, "I think it would be a great idea to have a ward blog...sure I'll do it!!" What was I thinking? It is so much easier to start something than finish it, but I'm in this for the duration, so no matter how old (2 months) this is it's here now...so everyone just enjoy and take a little jaunt back to Halloween and all the other entries that are to follow and remember the good times, cause that is for sure what this ward knows how to do is have FUN!!

FHE is the best. As you can see we had a blast.

Twin shooters. Alan and Justin
Veronica tries her hand at pigeon flinging...it's actually harder than it looks.
Bryce has it down though.
Sister Lewis is a natural.

Heather is ready to go in her boots and with her gun!
This one is always packing.

Can't leave texting behind...good thing we were high enough for good cell reception!

Kira is an amazing shot! Who knew...

Can't see you, can't hear you! Better put in ear plugs, cause it's loud out here.

Teaching moments all night long. It was a great bonding time for everyone, those of us who needed help and those who knew what they were doing!

Bishop and Bryce. Clay pigeon throwers were everywhere. Some were good and other (like me) needed work. The shoot out winner, Nate Edwards. I believe that means he just won dinner and since I highlighted him I won a ride in his green jeep!

Mary is quite the shooter and the pigeon thrower.
Lavar Green is quite the shooter...he was kind enough to try and teach me a little bit...took like 3 people to teach me before it actually sunk in!

Everyone got some shooting in. Even those who were quite inexperienced. It was one of the best activities and most interactive we've had. Our bishopric is really supportive of activities like these. In fact Brother Lewis and Beckstead took part in the shooting contest.
Our faithful RS president getting a little bit crazy on the way there! She's a funny girl! These funny girls are looking out yonder for what was being shot! They add life to our FHE's and activities. Erin and Alan getting ready to git er done...Alan and Justin were quite the shooters.

I must say we have quite the fun ward. We went shooting. There was a shoot out that Nate Edwards ended up winning. More pictures will be added later, my battery on my camera died so those are on sister Beckstead's camera.
